About Us

Bardeco is committed to using the freshest, quality ingredients that are locally sourced as much as possible. We make our own pizza dough - regular and whole wheat - so we know each and every component that goes into your food. We at Bardeco understand that fresh vegetables, high quality meats and cheeses, and special seasonings coalesce to create the casual, but gourmet meals that Bardeco is known for.

Bardeco first opened its doors in a Lachine restaurant in 1993. The popular local hangout was known for its genuine art deco ambiance until culinary inspiration hit. By way of research, dedication, and experimentation, Bardeco pizza was born.

Word and acclaim spread quickly after being voted ‘Best Vegetarian Pizza in Montreal’ by the Montreal Gazette in 1997. Well known for their original specialty pizza choices, such as the Lolo Brigida (A Brooklyn-style All-dressed), the Cardinal (A European Specialty), and the Parisienne (Escargots and shrimp on a pizza?!), Bardeco has transformed the traditional pizza into a gourmet pie.

Bardeco also creates unique submarines served on homemade pizza dough bread, hand-cut French fries tossed in our secret seasoning, and 'Crazy Poutines' unique concoctions inspired by the classic dish. Our in-house rotisserie roasts succulent chicken, complimented by our widely-praised chicken sauce that combines a hint of cinnamon with deep savoury flavours.

At Bardeco, we believe that a casual meal should be created with gastronomic flair. Your traditional favourites can be healthy, hearty, and unorthodox, and we are creating them from scratch at our two locations.
